    Hi All

You can add me to the list of folks whom Acronis has bailed out, in this case from my own foolishness.

I was testing something I new would mess up some of my critical data files in the my doc's folder. Those who know me know I use both FDISR and AJC Sycn products. FDISR wouldn't help as I don't have mydoc's protected. I figured AJC would do it's normal job. But just to be sure I ran the latest version of True Image, and used Files and Folders to backup up the MyDocuments folder. After doing what I wanted to do I was comtemplating the best way to use AJC to resync mydocs's, due to file dates and time issues. Decided the easiest way was to just delete all the folders involved.(Laughter is permited). Then tried the synchronization and of course it failed do to many file permissions. Then since it was not system stuff, I tried restoring the acronis backup. Of course it failed also. Note since I had all the files, I could have rebuild manually, but arg the time. Then bright idea. Do it in safe mode. Yea right, no drivers no usb/iee drives. Now faced with the unpleasant task ahead one more idea dawn. Try it with the recovery CD.
Worked like a champ, saving me several hours of tedious work.

    Thanks Acronis.

    Pete
