SmartSync Pro NewHeur_PE virus...

    Anybody has more information about smartsync pro? Nod32 warns me always:

    C:\Program Files\SmartSync Pro\SmartSync.exe - probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus [7]

    I send at least 3 times a sample to eset, but no response or whatever.

    No , I have no information about this however it is suspicious when marked as Heur_PE virus. You may aslso submit it to VirusTotal and post a screenshot here /be patient/

    We have installed the application, but NOD32 did not trigger an alert. Make sure that you are using the most current version of virus signatures 1.1694. Should the file still be flagged by NOD32's heuristics, send it by email to samples @ eset.com with a link to this thread.

    I sent it as mention at least 3 times, once via nod32, twice by email to samples@eset.com.

    I use the signature 1.1696, the latest.

    Below the VirusTotal Scan. It bothers me that everytime I start the computer I get the message from nod32. I also dont want to exclude SmartSync from nod32, because maybe one day it has a virus....

    Hm... now its one day later and still no response. I need to know if I should better uninstall SmartSync Pro and find another solution or shall I still wait for Marcos?

    Have you tried a scan with the latest signature 1.699 ?

    Yes, I did just now and its still the same.

    If so then please submit the file to support @ eset.com with a link to this thread. You must be using a different version of it than those we have and are not flagged by heuristics.

    I sent it for the 4th. time. I am using SmartSync Pro version 2.10 and the latest virus signature 1.1700
