(version 4.0.467.0 on Windows 7 RTM)

I'm currently evaluating ESET with a view to purchase but...

Installation seems to block other computers on my LAN from printing on my shared printer :(

I've followed the guide here: http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2141

and still get printing blocked, even though ESET is set to allow sharing & printing.

Also the manual states that :

"NOTE: By default, workstations from a Trusted zone are granted access to shared files and printers, incoming RPC communication is enabled, and remote desktop sharing is also available."

but I see the following rule hit if I turn all logging on:

26/09/2009 18:22:39 Communication denied by rule 192.168.1.101:49925 192.168.1.100:135 TCP Block incoming RPC requests PID=792 NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE

When I turn ESET firewall off printing works fine.

    (Windows firewall is off)

What do I need to do in order to allow printing?

Do you have prerelease updates enabled in the update setup?

That seems to have done the trick - many thanks!
