Slow web pages loading

    Loadtime(s) while running these apps and downloading a 156.7 MB file:

    - ESET NOD32 v3.0.563.0 - ZoneAlarm Security Suite v7.0.408.000 - McAfee Desktop Firewall - PC Tools Spyware Doctor - Spy Emergency 2007 - BitDefender Internet Security 2008 (Firewall Active) -

    Browser: Mozilla Firefox v2
    Speed: ADSL 385 KBpS

    I wonder what happens in each case if testing is done with just one single firewall installed (as would be normal) ... ?

    It seems several of those experiencing this issue are running multiple firewalls...

    You are are far over-protected......what on earth is the use of all these security apps running? It can only give you conflicts and no wonder everything loads too slow.
    You need one good AV + antispyware and one good firewall and that should really do the trick!

    Those are just for testing purposes. I'm running tests on some softwares to know which of them are having conflicts. Up to know, I haven't noticed any conflicts with the softwares stated above.

    Ok, but even when testing.....you should test one at the time, then it will give you a clear picture of what does what.

    Already did that above (with BitDefender's Firewall). With the others:

    Site 1: 3 ~ 5 seconds
    Site 2: 4 ~ 9 seconds
