    Hi dragon11,

Not much wrong with your log.

Can you check after you reboot if this entry is gone?
    O4 - Startup: Data LifeGuard LifeLine Lite installer.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\ins2.TMP\DLGLI1.EXE
If not you can have HijackThis fix that one.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hi dragon11,

Programs should not be running from Temp folders.

You do have some startups that may be unnecessary, but I don't see any obvious ones that might be slowing your downloads.

You can check some of your O4 entries against this list: http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php

    Regards,

    Pieter

Is there any way to search for files that were installed or downloaded on a certain date? This started happening a few days ago and I wanted to search every application and file that has been downloaded in the last few days.

    Hi dragon11,

Using the advanced options of the Find Files in Windows you can do that:
