Slow computer performance

    I had a Java/byte/verify virus that Avg detected and I removed as well as DSO Exploit which Spybot 1.4 removed however since then my computer internet performance has been slow. So I followed the General Cleaning Instructions posted on the forum but it still hasn't improved the speed, any ideas what to do next?
