My problem is this (and it started in the last 24 hours):

When typing in a URL that does not exist, I am not taken to the autosearch.msn page like one would expect, but rather to rightfinder.net.

My home page, etc. seem unaffected.

    Can someone please help me?

Hi, and welcome to the board. :)

Go to http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/ , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please show us its contents.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

Close all browser windows, and have Hijack This fix the following item:

    O1 - Hosts: 66.118.163.109 auto.search.msn.com

Now test your browser once more.

    Good luck,

    Tony,

You have solved the problem. Thank you VERY much.

Any further action required? Any chance of it coming back?
