Skype Being Picked up as a Virus (False Possitive)

    I dont get any alert here. im running ESS 4.2.71.2 with 6429

    which version are you running? and have you got 6429?

    It looks like you use a download manager to download files. Try disabling it while downloading the installer. Win32/Kryptik.CB is a several years old detection.

    I'm running the same.

    Will try with the normal Firefox downloader now.

    I was not able to download the new update from Skype through the regular means. I did NOT get any notices from ESET5 but what I had to do was delete Skype through its own delete and then installed the new version. It worked that way and it went in with no problems.

    It works now, but why does Eset pick it up as a virus while I download it? I get to about 16mb of the download and Eset picks it up. I use a firefox addon called Downthemall as my download manager, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/

    Anyways thank you for your help. :)
