Sitecom wlr-4000 woes

    Help please.

    Their support form is a nightmare to navigate like their website.

    I have a wlr-4000 which I bought brand new from ebay. It was sealed.

    It had an EU plug. It says nothing on the box about it being a UK or non-UK one.

    I have had a nightmare with it since day 1, mainly with downloads, streaming from youtube and/or the internet would stop working and I would have to reset it. Utterly useless device.

    Today I went on their website and found my router, non UK one (it has a 2 pin plug), and updated the firmware, and it has completely stopped working.

    I have gone back to my old router with which no issues downloading or streaming. A 1 gig file [from Apple servers] took about 10 or so minutes, not the estimated 38 hours that it would have with Sitecom if it would download without repeatedly stalling the downloads.

    Any ideas before I bin what seems to be a waste of my money?

    I only bought it because it has hitman pro cloud technology.
