"silent" - what is it?

  1. I just replaced CCleaner with IOBit Advanced System Care Free, and the security analyzer found something interesting... A startup entry called, simply, "silent" (not "silent.exe" just "silent"). It's not in IOBit's online database, but then, a lot of things aren't. Anyone know what the heck it is?

What is the location of it? Use MS AutoRuns if the other software is not revealing where

  3. Not sure... However, it is gone now that I've gotten rid of Threatfire and PCTools Firewall. Looks like it might have been part of one of those.:cautious:
