Here is SLAX Linux desktop...

 

but this is my favorite, my grand son the love of my life.

 

this isnt my desktop, its my friends, they dont use their computer much. when i first got on the computer i realised that the firewall had never been switched on and it had never been to WU. i confess most of the mess is down to me. i havent got around to tidying up yet, but its the result of my trying to get rid of malware and adding afew programs for them. i did delete afew setups earlier today, so it was even more messy eariler today

but seriously, maybe i'll have a tidy-up and show the results

i love seeing other peoples' desktops, but in a security forum you maybe wont see as many as you would in other forums

 

You guys/gals should try a sidebar. Lotsa fun.

I'm using Desktop Sidebar which I prefer over all the the ones I have tried.
Support forum is here and there are links there to the latest version at the top. There is a new version coming out soon that should improve greatly the ability to do a lot more with the skin editor.

Also, those of you that like a nice look to your toy, Window Blinds is vastly improved over the last couple of years.
