I have never even tried a trial of Panda, so is there anything I should know before putting this unknown software of my computer? Is detection good, good on resources, etc? Thanks

    sure, try it

its good software, runs fast, scans fast and has a 'decent' detection and removal rate.

cons: licences aint eligable for upgades.

Sure, try it out. It's way better now, than it was just 1 year ago. I would go for the AV only though, AV+Firewall and PIS is still too heavy on resources.

    Happy tryout :D

Fast, Light, uncluttered interface. I don't know how effective it is yet. Fry's has a rebate so you end paying nothing for it.

It is a decent software, but it just does not work on some computers! You have to try it out yourself and see if it suites you. Launching internet explorer with kaspersky installed on my computer takes twenty minutes (not joking) but some people find it fast. I don't. (Even parser said no incompatitable softare)
