I've tried it the last few days - it's ok - reports WOT as questionable for removal, but nothing otherwise. Guess it might be a good tool for clearing out the "junk" if you are SURE what you are doing. I can take or leave it at this point.

Pardon me but I've never quite understand the need for such an app.

    Factory-installed programs
    - you can do without most and usually there are replacements

    Programs installed on your own
    - you should know which one is of value to you and which ones aren't.

If one's still stuck, all it takes is a search on the web and you'll find plenty of info...much more than any 'rating system' can ever provide. The irony is if you manage to come across/find such an app, chances are you already capable enough to decide.

Some people have kids which install junk and they are not very computer literate either. All they know is that their PC is slow. If this kind of software will make people more aware of what they have in their PCs it can't be bad.

It's useless. Only a list of installed programs. If I installed them, I presume that I knew what I was doing. I don't need his... opinion if they need to me or not.

I haven't used this, but am a paid user of their other product Boost by Reason.

Reason Software was started by Andrew Newman, the co-creator of the brilliant Giant AntiSpyware which sadly ended up becoming Windows Defender.
