Should I open Spyware blaster everytime I reboot my computer or I just install it, configure it once and that's it?

Is spyware guard working in bacground application or is it similar to Blaster as regards system of working?

    Hi,
Just install it and update it and enable all protection.
It sets "kill bits" in registry, so it protects you even if it's not running.
No need to have it running all the time, just check for updates sometimes and if there's a new update, download that and enable the new protection.

That's all you have to do :)

And this thread should be in Spyware Blaster forum not Test forum. :)

Oh and Spyware Guard needs to be running to protect you.
I think it works more like a anti-virus real time monitor except it's for spyware not virus. I haven't used it though, so I can't tell you more about it. Just what I've read.

Hi! I moved ya over to the proper section of the forum, to do believe Mr Hrmm is correct on all counts here.

SpywareBlaster - open to update/enable protection

SpywareGuard - runs in background as a process using Heuristics to avoid other nasties from installing.
