Hello, I would an advice by experts.
I need to try some software to see if they are compatible with windows-10, but I don't want traces and unwanted changes remain in the
    system and in the registry.
So I decided to try the softwares into a virtual environment...... now my question is:
Between Toolwiz Timefreeze and Shadow Defender, which works better on Windows-10?..... I know that both support the new win10 now, but
which is more safe and "strong"?

    Hi zapco_force

I can't say which is better on win 10, and I've never fooled much Toolwiz stuff, but I can tell you this. I've tested some stuff to see how it defended against ransomeware. I used ShadowDefender to protect all three disks. I let the ransomware run and it had a field day. Then I rebooted out of Shadowdefender and all was well.

Toolwiz Timefreeze protect only C: drive and ShadowDefender protect all drives.
ShadowDefender is not free, Toolwiz Timefreeze is free.

    Agreed! 100%

Pete's results mean a lot! I haven't throwed mr. crypto on my rig yet but have unloaded all sorts of other malware crap (just last night!) on a Shadow Defender virtualized drive (even with a USB Pen attached) and after reboot, P00F! gone completely.

    SD is rock solid PERIOD.

I haven't used Toolwiz Timefreeze but Shadow Defender, as the guys above say, is the one for me. Whatever nasties I have had on in Shadow Mode are gone after re-boot. One thing I would advise is always check if you are in Shadow Mode if you are about to explore anything nasty. It's easy, (when you use Shadow Mode most of the time and then bob up for air in ordinary mode to update antivirus etc) to forget that you are not in Shadow Mode, then those nasties would have a field day.

Zapco, I used both programs and I think both are great. For the past 5 or 6 years I used Shadow defender in W7 and XP, so, I don't know which one behaves best in W10 but I definitively recommend you get one or the other.

Thanks to all for the info...:)
In fact, I read many positive opinions about Shadow D. but in my area is much appreciated Toolwiz TF (??).......I remember that Shadow D. was considered the best until it was brought forward
by his original developer (Tony ... I think) ....but now it is still so?
However for me it's important to know if Shadow Defender (and Toolwiz Timefreeze) work on win10-64bit correctly!?....

I can verify that Toolwiz works correctly on Windows 10. I've been using it for months. However, that is not to say that it is any better than Shadow Defender. I actually have a license for SD, but I haven't installed in on my Windows 10 machine yet.

FWIW ~ if I may offer IMO you'll need to test for yourself on your setup.
I have SD license....and Wilders urged me towards SD.
    I prefer TTF on W8.1
    Go figure. :)
