Shadow Defender causing extremely slow network transfers

Hi,
While using shadow defender and excluding a folder for World of Warcraft. I find it extremely slow when transferring 8gb of data from another computer to my wow folder. Normally without shadow defender it'd take say 5-10 minutes, but with it it takes at least an hour.
I've tried this with several machines too.
In Task manager my network is only working at 10-25% on the computer its copying from.
