Setup Advice

    well my current setup is going to be:

    Belkin Router

    Windows XP Firewall turned On
    Avira Antivir Premium
    Mamutu

    Sandboxie
    Acronis True Image

    is this setup a decent one, suggestions on maybe an important type of thing i might be missing? i think this may finally be my final setup :D

    Yes, like a real firewall... A suggestion could be Look'n Stop firewall... There's plenty others.

    After that, you're set.

    ive tried many firewalls in the past, but all ive found them to do is annoy me with pointless popups and not really do anything useful, i already have a router and the XP firewall for inbound, and clicking a bunch of buttons to just allow firefox or something to open isn't what i plan to do with my time. a software firewall hasnt really protected me from anything that my other security software didnt do yet. so to me, its just makes my browsing slower and annoy me, nothing else, but thats just my personal opinion. and yes ive used look n stop before, it is nice and light but same thing i said above applies.
