I have added all my partitions to the File Protection list.

I turn session lock on and make a couple changes, such as disable Norton for malware analysis.

Later, I turn Session Lock off, reboot, and Norton is still disabled...

I also noticed that if I shutdown w/o properly closing Firefox, upon opening it again it will ask me if I want to restore the previous session. I accepted it, and each time now (twice), it successfully restored by previous browsing session. Shouldn't that data have been flushed?

So, I am wondering where that data came from.

    1) Was the browser shut down improperly before you activated the protection feature? IOW - are you seeing websites restored to the time prior to activation of SL?

    2) Have you recieved any errors related to the RVS protection driver? Check your System Event logs and let me know if there is anything listed (ref: RVS)

    3) When you turn SL on, do the the sheild symbols in the Tray Icon and Tool bar change to red?

    Thanks
    Mike

    1) I will have to check again. Don't want to jump the gun.
    2) No errors citing RVS.
    3) Yes ... edit: I don't have the toolbar enabled.

Ok, I was not able to reproduce the Firefox issue. Now, I will attempt to reproduce the Norton issue.

Indeed a hoax. I must have been confused about when I turned on protection.

Final question: Does it matter if I enable Returnil Protection/Session Lock on a restricted user account vs. an admin. account?
