Service

Hi,

I have problems with backup the hole system. I get corupt files when acronis starts...

I want to stop the specific service. I read this about the Acronis TI Corperate version, but it is only for databases...

How can i stop services and start services again after TI do the job?

Can anyone give some advise?

- What version (and build) of Acronis program do you use?
- You can create the image archive but it always is corrupted, am I correct?
- What services do you want to stop? We recommend that you suspend complex servers such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle or Microsoft Exchange before pressing the Proceed button on the last page of the Acronis True Image Create Image wizard, or before starting a scheduled task. Once the imaging process starts, you can resume server operations.

=> TI 8.0 Build 763

=> No the image is not corrupt, but some temporary files are corrupt. Always when Aronis TI starts and the temporary files where created (mail filtering job).

=> Ok, I downloaded the Corp edition and i read about this version it can start and stop services, but in the options menu i found it only for the database services.

How can I do that by shedule?

A. Pauze the specific service
B. Start Acronis TI
C. Resume the specific service of A when imageing process starts?.

Hello David,

Acronis True Image Corporate Workstation allows you to launch custom script files before and after the snapshot is taken. If you set the script names in the "Data base support" section of Acronis True Image Corporate Workstation this will allow you to get what you want. The script is written manually and that allows you to stop any services you find necessary.
