Server conneciton failure - When updating

    i keep getting this message and it will not update

    ran anti spyware
    no firewall
    router settigns are fine

    any ideas?

    Do you have the update server set to Choose automatically?

    yes, it just cycles through them

    when i try to ping the serves i get conneciton timed out as well
    i think its a problem with my windows as nothing else updates as well.

    im not sur how to fix it

    Which OS? A winsock repair could get things working again, though it is possible that some resident spyware is screwing up your connection.

    no spyware. winsock fix didnt work
    tried all those already

    i just fixed it now

    i had previously had Norton internet security 2008
    i had to go on their site and download the Norton removal tool
    now nod32 v3 works, and doesn't bring down my internet like before and all my other programs are able to update

    : )

    So for a word of advice

    once you uninstall you norton product, and reboot
    be sure to go on their site and download norton removal tool. after this is all done THEN you can install nod32
