    sikhan,
    Error 0X0000007B means that Widnows doesn't have appropriate drivers for Hard Disk.
    Please try to restore backup to IDE VMWare virtual drive. It should work correctly.

    As of restore to dissimilar hardware: it is possible with P2P Adjust OS option.
    The instructions are:
    0) Collect appropriate drivers for new hardware (at least for CHIPSET and HDD controller)
    1) Restore backup to new destination
    2) Run P2P Adjust OS and do the following:
    * Select founded Windows OS
    * Choose option for drivers "Upload drivers automatically from the provided driver repository".
    And navigate to the path where drivers are saved
    * Apply changes
    3) Once completed, restart your PC and check if Windows boots.
