My Nod Antivirus Used To detect All Files At Eicar.org.

However it will no longer detect any of the zip files even when they have been unziped. for some reason i can only get it to detect viruses if i actually run them any ideao_O

yeah but that isnt what i mean.
    I have a zip file with Download.zip/Scanned_03.scr - infected by Email-Worm.Win32.Wurmark.j

In it. Now other ppls nod32 detect that as NewHeur_PE.
also jotti's scanner says same thing.

My nod doesnt even detect it when i unzip it and run it?

    so whats going on here

Make sure you have archives checked in Amon on the desktop. Are you running any other antivirus?

Do you actually have advanced heuristics turned on in the AMON setup? Do you use the latest signatures 1.1090? Do you use the latest release version 2.12.3 or beta 2.5?

Set a password to protect your settings in the control center tray icon under system setup.
