I am a long time user of Keriver 1-Click imaging program. Now that I am using my Win7 computer more than I use my XP computer, I tried Keriver under Win7 -- the Keriver version I installed said it's good for XP all the way through Win10.

Sadly, Keriver is making errors on its Win7 images. When I try to load them, I get weird messages about stuff like, "unable to locate framis at location xxxxxxxxxxxx & bumcycle is discombuberated." Sheesh!

So I seek a drive imager, free or paid, that is idiot-proof & will make a bootable image on a USB flash drive. (I have 128gb flash drives.)

I will VERY much appreciate any & all suggestions. :geek:

If anyone wants to be able to boot/recover from a flash drive instead of a DVD/CD, then R-drive Image is the easiest way to go. The bootable flash drive must be formatted FAT or FAT32. If you use a flash drive 32gb or less, Windows will readily format it to FAT or FAT32. If you use a flash drive bigger than 32gb then Windows won't do a FAT or FAT32 for you.

In my research I discovered there is a really really neat & powerful app that will let you format ANY size flash drive to any format you need, including FAT & FAT32. It also does a bunch of other neat stuff. It is FREE at...
