Hi-- I was visiting a forum page and I saw nod's download progress window pop up (bottom right). At first I though an email was coming in. waited. But then I discovered they must be coming from the site (gifs and such). Closed my browser. Upon opening saw the progress window for a flash second.

Did and adawareSE scan and it didn't find anything.

I recently changed all my IMON http settings to higher efficiency - is this related.

    or is something up?

    thanks

It's to do with file size being downloaded, see screenshot...

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

This Wilders thread should answer most of your questions about the NOD32 translucent pop-up window. It is related to "higher efficiency" versus "higher compatibility" as the other thread explains. Don't worry, the same traffic is being downloaded either way. It's just that in higher efficiency mode Eset felt that it was worthwhile to provide some visual feedback for lengthier downloads since NOD32 is storing up all the packets until it gets the complete file.
