    Hello Forum,
I definitely think suites are the way forward, trying to achieve total compatibility with stand-alone programs is a hard task.I have deleted all the stand-alone programs and just have Kis-6 & SuperAntispyWare-Pro, and thats it.
My computer is now running as smooth as a Rolls-Royce fast as a Ferrari, and safe has Fort-Knox.All for the price of ( $1:53 a week or 1:16 Euros.) I could never achieve this performance with stand-alone programs, there was always something not quite right.

    Nice.
im gonna try and order kis6.0 tonight from amazon uk!
i think i will just use ondemand scanners along side it.
or i could use spysweeper if i really wanted to.
so two processes are most of your secuirty setup if you used seprate programs it would be quite alot more.
    e.g. kav two processes
    comodo one or two processes
super antispyware one or two processes
    etc.

    Hi Lodore,
Before i had Anti-virus| Anti-spy|anti-spam etc,it's impossible to get them to work in harmony together. Now everything is totally compatible.Be careful with Spysweeper alot of people say it slows down there Pc,I have used SS with no problems, but i prefer SAS, it is lighter.

    thanks.
i will probably all install modules except anti spam.
my ISP deals with my spam.
5.2 is better than 5.0 in spy sweeper.
but needs to get rid of the anti virus bits in the spy sweeper without av version.
after spysweeper runs out i might replace it but dono yet.
    runs out end of jan.

I've just replied to two topics about this subject...

Oh, well, here it goes again :D
I find suites great for people that want something just to work and protect and not bother.
As for standalone apps, they're great if you like messing around (especially the free ones).
I'm always trying new apps and like the standalone approach.
