Hello i have noticed that wmiprvse.exe has been using up a lot of cpu for a while and today decided to finally take a look at it.

In the properties windows of processhacker i see that:

    "8188, 7.00, 1,027, kernel32.dll!CreateThread+0x22, Normal"

notice the cpu is 7% for that and a few other processes.

How can i figure out which security software is creating the problem?

    thanks
    Martin

You can try disabling/uninstalling one after another and see when cpu will return to normal.

Can you not disable the selfdefense features and terminate their processes?
I also recently had 50% CPU load with wmiprvse.exe, but it was caused by Speccy.
