I have recently changed my Dads machine from Zonelabs and Norton AV to:

    Netgear Router with SPI
Mainly use Opera Browser or Firefox
Kaspersky KIS - with ProActive Def enabled
K9 for anitspam - easy for him than k-antispam
    Raxco First Defence
Regrun plat - useful tool bag
    Logmein - disabled user enabled
    Dropmyrights (he runs as admin)

    and on-demand:
Spybot S&D - kill bits and spyware
    AVG Anti-Spyware (formerly ewido)
    a2 (free)
Computer Security Tool - a little hardening

He quite likes Kaspersky - as a Nod user I like it as well but I would have prefered to use a multi vendor solution (but it is not for me)

He is a fairly safe surfer but tends to click without too much thought.

What would you remove or add and why?

id remove RegRun. i dont see much use in it if youre running KIS's proactive defense.

I'd already removed it after all - thought I had left it in place
