Hey, could anyone give me a list of security programs, whatever kind like AV, AS, HIPS, FW, etc. that have lifetime licenses?

All I can think of right now is Malwarebytes and Defensewall, though I think Defensewall you don't get updates or support if you don't renew.

Spyshelter didn't metion lifetime, instead they use the term "one time pay for several years"
Maybe they have a same license system like Look n Stop (I'm not sure)

Single purchase allows using SpyShelter for several years(no time limit), without yearly fees, include FREE upgrade to all future versions.

LnS is not life time . But rather you can use the same version for ever. that means that if they introduce another version you can not use the same license but have to buy a fresh new one.

Typically how often does LnS come out with new version?

Latest Version is 2.07 that came out almost 18 months ago. LnS has been around for at least 8 years I know of and probably longer and is only at version 2.07 so it shows you development is not exactly carried out at a blistering pace. Mind you with a product like LnS it does not really matter. Only new/amended OS etc should require any changes.

In general I reckon I've bought over a dozen lifetime licences over the years. Only Sandboxie (and AppGuard although still very new) has kept developing and supporting the lifetime licence users. Don't really know how Tzuk does it (but glad he does) because when you think about it, it is not a particularly smart business model. Lots of investment upfront but nothing to make it worth your while over time unless you can generate new customers.

    Anyway.....

    Yeah, that's what I meant.
Since it is written on LnS webpage that one purchase can last several years
As long as the new version haven't released

I was thingking spyshelter would have the same license.
    But maymoon clarify it :D
(Btw , does maymoon work for spyshelter? He knows a lot about it :))

when i buy a lifetime license to a product i always assume the vendor is gonna go bankrupt in less than 3 years.

it gives me an average yearly price which i can decide to move on to or not. ;)
