Hi Guys, We've put together a virtualization platform for Android. Think of having your Work and Home environments completely isolated. Separated networks, storage, apps, etc. Doing your banking in complete isolation, or spinning up a "new phone instance" in a few seconds. Each "Space" can have fine tuned security policies applied. We even offer Docker style pre-configured spaces. You can see some examples here: http://www.securespaces.com/WP2015/index.php/sample-spaces/ If you'd like to try our ROM, you can find the images here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/development/rom-secure-spaces-rom-t3327432 We're looking to the community for feedback and opinions. If you have any questions or suggestions we'd love to hear from you. Cheers, @graphiterom
Our solution is tailored specifically for Android. We make use of Linux subsystems and instrument the Android framework to adopt our middleware. I'm not as familiar with the Windows kernel and virtualization capabilities, but I imagine a similar solution could be created.
OK I see. I think this type of tech is very interesting, back in the days you had iCore Virtual Accounts, but it never really took off. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICore_Virtual_Accounts
