German Coder. Not signed. Trustworthiness unknown but references at protecus and trojaner-board are reviewing it at the moment.

    I think it is safe.

WOT should be taken with a grain of salt but to say it has no value whatsoever is silly.

What kind of people would you have participate if not "ordinary"?
    Extraordinary?
Seriously, WOT seems to have taken elaborate steps to fend off the kind of thing you allude to.
    Basically, like this:

    WOT rep II.jpg

And yet you produce two links, both started by the manufacturer of the software, and both commented by the usually noob users.

I'll tell you this guest: you're the perfect example of what a bit of knowledge can do in the wrong hands.

Well, you definitely don't have to like it, and far be it from me to suggest that you should... but its ratings are not based solely on user opinion.
    According to the WOT FAQs,

    So, do you understand german?

    Then read this -http://www.securebanking.bplaced.net/about.php-
And take a look to the videos.

You think a scammer will make the website only in german? anyway is a easily traceable website to be a scammer, the owner is not hidden but one those domain registrant that hides the real owner.

I really can't give any credit to what WOT says about this website.

Hey guys, take it easy, cool down. Else, we'll feel the wrath of the moderators.

Another WOT-buried website, with no evidence of it being malicious. Is there an English version of this software?

Many safe and secure and descent websites are blacklisted in WOT and vice versa, many insecure and dangerous and malicious websites are not blacklisted in WOT!

Many times WOT is right, and many times WOT is wrong!

    Use your own common sense!

But IMO i would never trust it because i have used it for some websites before and they rated it bad (Not this bad of course) and they all ended up legit so thumbs down to this lame WOT :thumbd:

when this thread was started i clicked on the secure banking link and wot warned me it is malicious. i wanted to see what it was.no comment, nothing. if you had a site and i flagged it as dangerous and no one would enter it, would it be ok??

In describing the SecureBanking site, your original post says, "Trustworthiness unknown".
Do you think that might have something to do with people subsequently posting about a tool named Web of Trust? ;)

A couple of days ago you were saying,
Hey, I thought it was a discussion, anyway.
    Just comparing ideas and opinions.

    Okay, gotcha.
    Arguments means attachments.
This will help me understand your posts.
But let's do what JR suggests and stay on topic.

Is there an update on the reviews that Habakuck spoke about?
    :)

I'm also curious about this one.
Free security apps are always welcome. Just hope it's not malware...
