    Yes, it is true, and it has been known for many years now, even prior to the article. I see by your newest posts you have found the EFF. While they are a great ally in the fight to get back and retain our privacy and freedom, they have often, as any group of their kind has and will, fallen into the trap of sounding the alarms prematurely and being a bit on the zealous side. I know that sounds very harsh to those of you who think as highly of this group as I do, but I feel it needs saying.

    There is always going to be a trade off between security and freedom, there has to be or else we'd have neither one. Sometimes the balance gets shifted too far in the wrong direction, most times out of overeager, but good intentions, sometimes for not so good intentions, and that is when groups such as the EFF go at it their best.
