    thank you.I think i've got it how to resize--now how do I get a screenshot from this prog.I cant get it to do right.I have been using hover snap and it's so easy.Guess I'm not doing something right

    Go to Options | Capture/Screenshot and select your hotkey for taking a defined screenshot. Select your option and press Start.
    Afterwards press your hotkey for taking a screenshot. :)

    if you look at Eldar's screenshot, at the bottom it says *saving method* i dont know what the default is, but i have *save captured image as file* selected, and the path is C:\Documents and Settings\ritaann\Desktop\ it's saved as a JPEG. than you click start, then press CTRL + F11 to take the picture, and it should be on your desktop.

    i dont know o_O but, i use different programs for differenet things. to get just a section of the screen i use hoversnap, it's very easy. i'll show you if you like?

    IrfanView doesn't let you take a section of a screen, but you can always crop a selection. First select the region you want by dragging a rectangle and then Press CTRL + Y.
    I'm always using SnagIt, but HoverSnap can do it and a lot of other screen capture software can do it too. :)

    I know how to do it with hover snap--just wondering if you could do it with this prog and so now i know you cant--figured it was something I was doing wrong :D
