If you start an av scan and place your computer in hibernation, will the scan continue or will it stop?

    Thanks.

Okay, I thought maybe you could still keep a scan running in hibernation. How about switching from one account to another? That should keep the scan running, correct?

Hibernation basically saves the entire session into HDD and fully turns off the power. It's the same as shutting computer off. So no, it cannot scan during that time. However, it will continue to scan where it left of when you power it on again.
