Hello, about scanning targets, do I need as many targets as I have here. When I see all the stuff on "C" drive it seems to include all this :), if I just scan "C" drive the number of files scanned seems very few.

    Hi manOFpeace,

What files did you setup to scan, "all, heuristic, packed, archived"

The files i see in your screenshot are just the files you wanted Nod to scan.

When you select "scan C:\ in the window above" you will notice quite a difference for scanning C:\ will scan your whole C:\ drive.

Hi again Martin, thanks for reply, I know I am a nuisance. ;)

When I select C:\ only the scan only takes about 2mins.30secs
I feel that is not enough to scan, I think it's about 8,000 files,
when I scan that selection it's about 16,000 files in around 6 mins.

I don't want to be scanning and not getting it all done or is C:\ drive
enough, do you understand what I mean, do I need that stuff in the bottom. Thanks, look forward to reply. :)

Martin, I don't know, I just hit scan but sometimes run Heuristic during the day.
My problem is that I don't properly understand it. :(

Yesterday when I looked in "My Computer" and opened up C:\ drive
all that extra stuff I have at the bottom was already covered, does that mean I am doing some of it twice with the extras. o_O I have C:\ selected as well.

You have answered your own question by the sounds of it, scanning C drive will scan all files, I also have Nod "Scan Extensionless Files", there are 3 places to tick for this, AMON, IMON and within Run Nod32.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers :D
