Scan usb devices

    I would like to scan usb devices before they get in touch with the OS and harm it. I have nod on the workstations. Any idea's.

    Marcos offers advice here - a little old but if there still isn't a way to set this up in the GUI, it's probably still relevant.

    There's also a possible workaround here, using a small utility and a batch file.

    V4 scans files on removable media with maximum settings on execution by default (ie. with advanced heuristics and runtime packers enabled). That means, if malware (usually an autorun trojan) is executed, it will be detected and blocked providing that it's recognized (by heuristics/signatures).

    I am not only looking for a software but an hardware that will scan the usb devices pryor to connect to OS.
