SAV CE can never "Clean" viruses from files

Just why is this?


It will never clean, I always qurantine it (Evn though it's best) Can someone explain?

Oh yeah, I'm using an older version called V8, cba to upgrade not much difference.

 

Symantec's CE is supposed to be used on servers. a software is not supposed to delete any files on a server automaticlly. So SAV CE just quarantine them. Yet, I believe there is a setting let you delete manully.

 

I know it isn't very safe to have two AV's both running Real-Time protection but Symantec CE and Avira Antivir, seem to be getting on okay. I've downloaded a couple of ZIPped files with viruses inside and now I have Avira catch Trojans and Symantec Viruses.

 

Your point being ? And what are Symantect Viruses?
