    Hi

I have noticed that under w10 64bit pro and windows 7 64bit pro , the sandboxie classic system tray icon does disappear often

for example the classic situation is right mouse click on the icon ,after the icon does disappear
    sometime the gui does freeze

and i have to reboot to use it, i have even uninstalled and re-installed
the only security software is use is kaspersky free ,maybe I should add some exclusion in the kaspersky preferences

does somebody noticed such bug or is related to some libraries?
    is there a fix?

    thanks

Hi mantra. My icon has not disappear at any time (in W10 I have Classic and in W7 5.33.6, no AV). The fact that you are experiencing the issue in both, W7 and W10. I think it tells that you have something in common in both computers that is triggering the issue. Perhaps it is Kaspersky (your guess is probably right) if you are using Kaspersky in both computers.

    Hi Bo
yes I have on both computer kasperksy
maybe I could add sandboxie drivers in the exclusion list of kaspersky
do you use for w7 just because it's stable even outdated?
    thanks Bo

windows 7 is neither nor stable having no updates for years. but your new question is a sequel of this one
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/does-sandboxie-classic-need-some-component-for-w7.452563/

if you want to rely on w7 then install it from scratch and avoid any crappy software which includes also kaspersky. SB may work for win7 but at least author has to focus win10/11 and it may happen that some features are not downward compatible.

as you never answered my hints so i have to assume you never has trialed. this is poor because no one knows how far several investigations had success. its picking in the dust, its still on you.
