Should one be concerned right now? Spoiler: server not reachable At any rate, for me personally, v. 1.9.8 has been working so well for my limited purposes, I think I'm gonna let this one slide.
server fixed the 1.10.x line brings major improvements with regard to compatybility but as its still under developement its not a mistake to wait untill it will be final
1.10.2 installed on Win 10 over the top of previous version. No issues so far with Vivaldi or Edge in all colour boxes.
Hiyah David, I have been out of loop for a while & apologize if it's been asked before, but do you have any idea on how much longer you plan to support Windows 7? I am a stubborn old codger and plan to continue browsing with Firefox 115 ESR til Sept of next year and every version of Sandboxie-Plus you release works sooooo well with my clean OS which I installed back in 2011.
Very minor issue/question: I get this message when running Firefox in Defaultbox (drop rights enabled if it matters) and when launching an external link from a program running outside the sandbox. firefox.exe: SBIE2321 Cannot manage device map: [C0000034 / 11] For example, clicking on the website in Wise Disk Cleaner, in System Informer when clicking on the SourceForge link etc. I'm guessing this isn't a bug but just expected behavior?
You mean sandman.exe? If so then no. Why would I run sandman.exe as admin? In which case one can or should run it as admin?
No need to run as administrator. In recent versions, people have encountered the same error as above when using sandboxes with DropAdminRights enabled while running SandMan as administrator.
