sandboxie has no registry entries?

hey wilders,

i installed sandboxie 64 bit, and i looked in the registry and i noitced that there are no registry entries for sandboxie.

is this normal?

 

Did you search for "sbie" (without the quotes) ?

 

im talking about under like hkey current user\software

or hkey local machine\software.

you know where like your other software is.

i dont see any entries there for sandboxie. normal?

 

Only a few registry entries are added under:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
HKLM\System\\CurrentControlSet\Services\sbieDrv
HKLM\System\\CurrentControlSet\Services\sbiesvc

and a few under HKEY_Users

 

ah ok, so there is no registry entry called "Sandboxie" correct?

 

All of the settings are stored in Sandboxie.ini not registry.

or does it just create entries called sbiedrv

 

The only registry entry with "sandboxie" is the uninstall entry. There's two entries that contain the word "sandbox" under HKEY_USERS.

Didn't I answer that in post 4? If you really want to know it's not difficult. Just search your registry for sbie and sandbox.
