Excuse me Please: an Internet & forum search have not provided any assistance. I am currently experiencing the following error from Sandboxie v5.33.6(64) when launching any browser (WaterFox, FireFox, Chrome) on a win7pro64 system, but ONLY when logged in under a User-privedged account, no issue when launched under the Administrator account. SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Win32Init.5 (0000000000000005) SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Win32Init.5 (0000000000000005) SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Win32Init.5 (0000000000000005) SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Win32Init.4 (FFFFFFFFC0000021) SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service: *GUIPROXY_00000008 - SandboxieRpcSs.exe [FF000005] this system was a recent re-image, so if this is a common error i might have solved in the past, i have long since forgotten the steps taken that had this same system with same version Sandboxie to work as expected. Services, Firewall, installed Programs exactly match systems where this same version of Sandboxie works fine. No resident AV present. Any insight into what the error is actually saying, and any resolution(s) would be greatly appreciated.

Of this message, I ll say this, is not common but rare and is old. Not new at all. Probably the reason you haven't found a solution really is because 99.99% percent of the time the message is just information, so if the sandboxed program works well despite getting the message, then the message can be safely dismissed and hidden (that is the solution). I always run as administrator, I know I seen it sometimes (extremely rare) in Windows 10 but is so rare that I don't have it hidden for any sandbox in W10. On the other hand, in W7, I used to get the message often enough when running an old version of KMPlayer. So, in W7, I have hidden the message in my KMPlayer sandbox. You say you get the message running various browsers under Sandboxie, I don't remember getting the messages with browsers but might have. If you are getting the messages all the time when you run your browsers, perhaps if the image you used is old and is missing a Windows update, that might be why you are getting the message all the time. But remember, if sandboxed programs work well, hide the message and forget about them. Nothing is escaping the sandbox, you are in no danger for doing so. Bo
