    Sandboxie 3.52
    Windows Vista 32 Bit

Sandboxie says my downloads are too big (average around 250mb)...they spills onto the desktop without prompting. Previous versions of Sandboxie allow me to virtualize entire files even when downloading files with BitTorrent so I'm sure it can handle bigger files. Plus, I ask the developer before and he personally assured me Sandboxie can handle any large files. However, this was years ago.

I like my downloads to remain in the sandbox until I decide otherwise.

Should I use a previous version of Sandboxie?

    Here is my Sandboxie.ini configuration:

If the error message you're getting is SBIE2012 then you'll need to change the setting page42 indicates above. Although, I'm not sure why a file download would trigger that message. Are you using a download manager of some sort?

If the error isn't SBIE2012, can you tell us what it is? Also what do you mean "spills onto the desktop without prompting"?

I have never used torrents or anything like that but I often download
files 2 or 3 times the size you mentioned, DL file size has never given
me an issue even though the files might stay in the sandbox for 2 or
3 hours or until I delete the sandbox.
I always delete the contents of my sandbox when I close the browser,
never keeping anything on a sandbox once I close it.

A very similar thread was created on the Sandboxie forums, a few days before this one. (http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=10113). Looks like the same person to me. Some good advice was given on the Sandboxie thread before this thread was even created.

OP did not follow up (in the end) on that thread either... o_O

Thanks, sbseven. I'll check that out directly.
Regarding follow up by an OP, I guess some people don't realize that it's a basic component of an unwritten agreement... help is requested, help is given, follow up is provided. It's the price the OP pays for the assistance. :)

    Hi guys,

Sorry for the long update. I don't have internet access at home. The problem seems to go away once I changed the file migration size to 99999 GB.

Thanks for the help guys. Much appreciated.

Glad it's fixed Gargoyle. I'd still be interested I know what you meant by "spills onto the desktop without prompting" and also what download application is causing this behaviour?
