What happened to the Galaxy Tab S5? Don't worry because here's the Tab S6 and it looks pretty special.

We've been wondering where the Galaxy Tab S5 is, but now looks like Samsung will launch the Tab S6. Here's what we know about the new tablet and iPad rival so far including release date, price and specs.
A while ago Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S5e as a sort of cheaper version of the Tab S4, albeit with some elements that are better. So we were naturally expecting the full-blown flagship Tab S5 to arrive soon, but the 'e' might be the only 5 model.

When is the Galaxy Tab S6 coming out?
It's widely rumoured and expected that Samsung will unveil its new Galaxy Tab S6 on 7 August.

Update: Samsung has now announced a 5G version of the Tab S6 making it the world's first 5G tablet thanks to the Qualcomm X50 modem. However, it's only available in Korea for the time being at 999,900 won (around £650/$850) in a 6/128GB configuration.

Last year, Samsung announced its iPad Pro competitor, the Galaxy Tab S6. There were rumors that Samsung might launch a 5G version of Galaxy Tab S6 tablet in certain markets around the world. Last month, the Galaxy Tab S6 5G showed up on the National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) website. Samsung has now confirmed the device and the device will be on sale in South Korea from tomorrow.
