My current setup includes using SafeXP to tweak some of the more obscure registry settings to harden WinXP. I just make sure to create a backup of the drive before and after just in case it breaks something. So far so good, haven't had any conflicts with the changes SafeXP has made.

On my gaming machine I have used GameXP without any conflicts to improve system performance. Could all be a placebo... now I think about it I should have run benchmarking tests before and after. Doh!
