I have just updated to the latest database version: 1009.

This database was not available yesterday.

After updating, the date still shows as 8/8/2010?

    Something wrong? o_O

It register very easy but will not complete a scan on Windows 7 (32-bit).
I disabled all of Avast's shields and completely exit Malware Defender but still give me errors.
Only Windows default firewall is enabled. No other security products are enabled.

The only toolbars on Internet Explorer are Yahoo and Roboform, of coarse IE is not running.
I don't understand the first error.

    Thanks.:)

    Thank you..:)

I have a question. After submitting FP I can no more see the driver in normal threats list but it is there in expert list. So is that for caution only or because of analysis its score has reduced.

To submit FP we need to right click on each threat and then submit. It would be great if there could be an option to select multiple and then submit...:)

    okay,I will add next version

But in the expert mode,It contains both legitimate programs and malicious softwares that are automatically started by Windows.

It is up to you which one should be removed or not.

So do not worry about ..

In many case, the red color score will be identified as a threat in default detection.

I also had this issue. If your issue is like mine the beta .exe wont fix the issue.

Hi,Safe Returner designed specifically to detect active infections on a running system booted in normal mode and safe mode.

So it do not scan static files that may contain malware.

It's a additional tool to remove malware while other failed, then use it to remove active malware.

It's a smart version of AutoRuns.

    @egomoo:
Online scan of detections at VT opens only the Virustotal page. It would be great if it could upload it like VT uploader.

You're correct didn't fix the issue, I gave up on this product, it needs more work and I don't have time to mess with it.

Product should have been more stable before it was released.

    Thanks.:)

hmm but afaik it is used in many products like Anvir task manager, Regrun reanimator and Runscanner. For the first and last one they calls the virustotal uploader for uploading suspected files. You may use that approach..:)
Also as an alternative you may use Jotti scan or Novirusthanks for this purpose...:)
