Safe mode

    Hello Forum,
    I have never completed a AV scan in safe mode ,Which option should I use.Please see screenshot.

    The minimal safe mode is enough if you just want to scan, the networking mode is suitable if you want to update your antivirus in safe mode. The third could be useful if a rootkit or something like that is attached in the directory services, and to clean it this option needs to be enabled.

    Actually I think the third option is intended for Active Directory machine, aka domain stuff. I don't see it being useful to regular users without an AD server.

    Ah, ok then. Guess the minimal and networking option are the preferable.
