As we all know, Russia is being accused of trying to influence the US election. Security experts, CIA and other departments have the same view and are pointing the finger at Russia.

This is really interesting from several perspectives.

First, they've managed to hack into a sensitive part of the government. Whats next ? Controlling US nuclear power plants and other sensitive assets ? Scary stuff.

From a political point of view, they have 'won' in a sense that they have managed to destabilize/cause chaos within the US government. Look at everything that has been going on since it first became public. The US needs a unified governmental response in light of this not the craziness that has been going on.

How does this affect Russian companies like Kaspersky who sell to the masses ? Seeing how someone like Trump can call on trusted buddies (Rex W. Tillerson - Exxon CEO) to assist him in times of need, is there a similar relationship within Russia with regards to hacking/security ? Tricky situation for Kaspersky ? I haven't heard any comments from them with regards to the hacks. Btw, I think they make a great product.

    Any other opinions ?
