Runtime Error

    Acronis True Image 8.0 +774 Update
    Win XP
    I am prevented from carrying out a backup with the following message
    "Runtime Error
    This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way"
    Any suggestions please?

    Hello brachd,

    Search this forum and you'll find it's a known bug in TI 8 prior to build 786. It's a non-critical error which can be ignored. Solution? Update to the latest build.
