Hi, if i copy over the installation directory of AppDefend onto a USB flash drive, can this application be successfully launched on a public computer? .. maybe with limited rights? Thanks

    Welcome to the forums Thesnowman,

Not possible I'm afraid. Security software generally (and AppDefend specifically) has to be installed under an Administrator account since it makes significant changes within Windows itself.

If you are concerned about security on a public computer, the best option (aside from not using one) is to use a bootable CD or memory stick with a Linux distribution on it. Then the only possible danger is a hardware keylogger - or someone looking over your shoulder.

Thanks Paranoid2000 for you reply. Is there a way to save/export the rules one has made in AppDefend? Thanks

There's no real import / export system yet.
However every setting of appdefend can be found in

    <program files>/GhostSecuritySuite/ADSecure.gsa
