    Hey all,

I'm having an issue where SS is blocking my shared printer from the other pC's in the network, if I disable the SS firewall everything works OK. I tried to get into the rule and zone editor function (F5 firewall options)to see what's going on but the button is greyed out. I figure it must be something I'm doing as I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of SS and the same thing happens.

Running W7 64bit and the latest Eset software.

    Thanks

(edit: After installing the latest version I can now print but the rule and zone button is still greyed out)

In the Advanced Setup/Personal Firewall you can alter the Filtering mode (at the top of the Personal Firewall list). Any other choice than the Automatic mode will make your rules and zones button available.

    Hello Director,
After you choose the filtering mode, click OK to make the change.
Then press F5 to return to the setup screen, and your button will be available.

I think here's another suggestion for ease in ESET products. :D

Yes, adding the "Apply" button. However, this is not technically feasible in v. 4.2 but it was added a long time ago to the wish list for future versions.
