    Hi,

We are running SBS 2003 with exchange and Nod32 v2.

Periodically (about 4-5 times in the past 3 months) the server automatically restarts with the following errors logged:

    Application log:
"Faulting application svchost.exe, version 5.2.3790.1830, faulting module
    imon.dll, version 2.50.25.0, fault address 0x0000b1eb." event IT 1000

then immediately after the following error is in the syslog:
"The Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly. It
has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be
taken in 60000 milliseconds: Reboot the machine." event 7031

I have found another forum user detail a similar problem, however it seems to have been linked with Diskkeeper, however we are not running diskkeeper.

    Thanks in advance,
    rockitOZ

    Hi rockitOZ, welcome to Wilders.

I gather your IMON is greyed out?

    Cheers :D

You need to "Quit" IMON on a Server, this unloads it.

    Cheers :D

If you actually have NOD32 for Exchange (XMON) installed, IMON would not be installed at all as it's not part of the installation package.
